FishMap 0.4.2: prices in US dollars

FishMap 0.4.2 is out for macOS, Windows and Linux. The main change: plan and fish-pack prices are now shown in US dollars, the same in every language.

Plans

• Offshore: $38 a month or $380 a year
• AI Captain: $77 a month or $770 a year
• Fishing Ground: $192 a month or $1,920 a year

A yearly plan costs the same as 10 months of use.

Fish packs for the AI Captain

• 100 fish: $2.50
• 500 fish: $12.50
• 1,000 fish: $25

Purchased fish stay valid for 12 months and are used after your plan's own fish.

Paying

• By card: charged in US dollars, for orders from $10. The 100-fish pack is below this, so it is paid by bank transfer.
• By bank-transfer QR in Vietnam: you pay the equivalent amount in dong. The app shows the exact amount before you pay.

Plans do not renew automatically. The app reminds you 7, 3 and 1 days before your plan ends, and when you upgrade, the unused days of your current plan carry over to the new one.

Also in this update

Version 0.4.2 includes the improvements from 0.4.1:

• The in-app Guide has a new article on the Waves layer in Vietnamese, English and Thai: reading wave height, the direction waves come from, wave period, danger levels for small boats and the 7-day forecast.
• Every ocean layer name and tip now appears in Thai when Thai is selected.
• AI Assistant error messages follow the language you have chosen.

Update now

Download 0.4.2 from the download page. Earlier versions (0.2.x, 0.3.0, 0.4.0 and 0.4.1) are no longer offered, so please update. Your plan and fish balance are kept with your account.
